Hello there again. 3 Art submissions in one week. Hmm, something's up.
So the other night after killing a few minutes on Newgrounds I really got in the mood to try my hand at frame-by-frame-animation again.
It's been almost a year since I've done any animation. Those of you who have been watching me for long enough might remember my animation of the robot and the alien. I deleted it a while ago because it sucked.
In about half a month from now I'll have almost 6 weeks of free time and I'm planning on making an animation. I've convinced a friend who's really good at this kind of stuff to write me a piece of funny.
This animation took me about two and a half hours to complete. At first I wanted to make a guy charge up DBZ style but since I've got such a short attention span and gets so easily amused, I animated the first 13 frames and reversed them to make him look like as if he's doing some kind of exercise. It goes at 25 frames per second(the numbers on the lower right is just to show you how that looks).
The things at the left side is the first and last frame and the blue lines are the guides that I used(but didn't follow quite 100%)
Please don't be too harsh if you're giving critique because this is only my second serious attempt at making animations.
Thanks, I'm quite proud of how smooth it is (particularly the legs, it really looks as if he's lifting something heavy). I can see a lot of little mistakes but perhaps I'm being to hard on myself. The framerate is a little hegh but the more frames per secong you use the smoother the animation looks in the end. I'm still deciding if I'm going to use so many frames in die end animation.

Kill the spiders, and save the butterflies.
It is rational,
Untill you realise that by striving for it.....

I know nothing about animation though I think it's impressive that the moves are so smooth. It rarely happens really.
